I am 28 years old. I was a bright kid, with a bright future until the age of 17.  This is when I started partying and hanging out with the wrong crowd.  Before I knew it the good kid I used to be had turned into a needle addict.  I cared only about my next high, and thought only about how to get my next fix.  I would rob anyone I could, had broken all family relationships, and was in and out of jail and rehab.  The last time I went to jail, I was certain that I was going back to prison, but the judge insisted I go to Wabash Valley Teen Challenge.  Since coming here, they have taught me about the importance of a relationship with Christ, the bible, and what it is like to live in God’s will for my life.  Yes, I still stumble at times, but I am learning to “trust in the Lord with all my heart, and lean not on my own understanding, in all my ways acknowledge him and he will direct my path”.   I  know if God can perform a miracle like this in my life, he will do it in others.
